is anyone watching the lunacy in this District? The Board members are so involved in vendettas that they have forgotten about the children.

and the beat goes on. Trustee convicted for being a thief. How much did he steal? And nobody does anything about this mess.

There's no difference except which County they're located in.

Both are controlled by the local church reverends and both allow gospel plays and daily prayer(maybe a good thing).The problem lies within the ethics and intent of the board members.They always put their church and flock before the children and that is wrong.

Take for instance Wyandanch.The budget passed but only 330 residents voted,yet over 500 voted for a certain reverend.In his sermon the Sunday before he asked his flock to vote for him yet neglected to mention that there was actually also a budget to vote on.
Sad but true.True but accepted.

In Wyandanch there is an individual (un-named) who started as the district Music Director(no degree)....later named the Supervisor of Grounds(no Civil Service rating)....later named the Director of Attendance(no degree)....later named the Interim Superintendent of Schools(no degree needed).....and then this year he was titled......the Director of Transportation(a position already filled).
His 2005 Mercedes has a personalized plate that reads:

'GODDIDIT'

They all continue to laugh at you fools who allow this!

What will be done? Nothing.

Give them credit though,because they expose and successfully use the system and get away with it.

look for big imprvoements in Hempstead SD. One board member was convicted of felony last week, and is no longer on the board. Come July 1, control of the board shifts to the folks who were trying to keep the district on course and who were outvoted by the crooks.
