In light of what may become a major new scandal involving his administration, the County Executive may wish to re-consider his support for Kathleen Rice for District Attorney. It would be to Mr. Suozzi's advantage to support the strongest possible candidate to go after DA Denis Dillon. Dillon, after all, is now in a stronger position to make life miserable for him and other Nassau Democrats. It is now time for him to support Cindy Kouril.
one west street is now in panic mode thanks to the artical that appeared May 26, 2005 in the LI Press.

If 1 West is in such a panic mode then why did they fire another whistle blower yesterday. The 911 op who was fired for allegedly "editing" a back to work note from her doctor was the "WHISTLE BLOWER" who forced Kark Kampe to reevaluate the policy of forcing 911 operators to work 4 GRADES below their titles as Case Offense Operators. Thier BOSS told them not to call civil service or they "might get paid less". This was the plan of NCPD so the 911 operators would never get PAY EQUITY with their male counterparts. Then the NCPD goes after her and the district attorney tells NEWS 12 that she was fired for collecting workmans comp for a year. SHE NEVER COLLECTED workmans comp.. she was in "no pay" status when she was sick. Another whistle blower lawsuit in the making. SOME PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE GOD!!!

Maybe a follow up story by the LI Press is in order while the irons are hot.

In fact, the CB operator was charged with a felony for falsifying business records. (She could have been charged with four felonies)She was a sick leave abuser who took legitimate doctors notes, used white out to erase the info, made photo copies and of them and wrote out new doctors notes to justify her absences, which she was paid for. The workers comp case had to do with a Corrections Officer. Get your facts straight.
PS "No Pay Status" is not a term used by NCPD. By submitting the Altered doctors notes, she was paid for the sick days that she utilized. She would not have been entitled to that pay becuse she would have been designated a sick leave abuser......if she had not submitted the falsified notes.
Go fcuk yourself!!!
Why don't you,
That old game huh?

Then why aren't the county attorneys who falsify records by signing in and out from 9 to 5 when they take off for 1/2 the afternoon for "lunch" or leave after "lunch" to pick up kids from school and then never come back or go to PTA meetings in the morning charged too? And why aren't the supervisors who fill in the timesheets for the attorneys in the department and sometimes even sign the employees name "with permission of course" charged too and then sign off on all the records charged too? And what do those BOE democrats do when they are campaiging in the Village of Hempstead instead of working on legitimate County business - are they being charged? And how does Tom Suozzi account for his time when he is campaigning for himself and others he supports - that's not a legitimate use of an executive's time - especially when he's upstate, in NYC, in Washington, in Albany - there's a position called legislative liaison who has that job - or busily lecturing about non-issues as far as running a local government goes - like abortion? Is he being charged? Sounds like selective prosecution to me. Sounds like they pick and choose who gets away with what based upon exactly what Ms. Morganstern claims - those who "play team Suozzi" do anything they want and get raises and promotions and those who don't get fired and charged with the same acts that dozens of others are doing right under the nose of high level managment, who in some cases, directed them to do it.
