We got a decent Financial reform bill passed, we now how a health care system that will soon catch up to Slovenia's, cracked down on credit card issuers who were raping the public, got embryonic stem cell research going again, and soon, taxes will reflect the reality of who earns what and who should pay for it.

So I am happy. And there will be more good things to come. It will take the better part of the decade to fix the problems Bush left us. But we're working on it.

You mean if it wasn't for republicans relaxing regulations, eliminating oversight, and pushing an "ownership society" the economy would not have fallen off a cliff. Remember, democrats controlled NOTHING for the years 2000-2006, when most of the bubble happened. That was your crowd who looked the other way and as a result the country is suffering. That's what you probably meant to say.
