Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy directed the county police department not to provide the mobile van and Police Athletic League representatives it had promised for Friday night's movie showing in Timberline Park in Brentwood - after a dispute over how the event was planned and who should get credit for it, county and town officials said Friday.

Levy's decision came after a dispute over where Levy's name would go on a flier advertising the event, Dumas and Nolan said. According to an e-mail obtained by Newsday, Dumas instructed Nolan's chief of staff, George Hoffman, to list Levy's name first on the flier.

The town did not comply with the request and subsequently issued a news release for the event.

Do we really want this fool on the Republican Ballot. Levy is unconcerned about Suffolk County and it's citizens. His only concern is HIMSELF. Go back to the Dems Steve-O. Most smart Republicans don't want anything to do with you!

His time is quickly coming to an end... sure he's the "savior" of the taxpayer... but in reality all he did was gut county government to the point of failure.... putting off expenses that should have been addressed each year.... and now has to be the one to repair (and pay for) all the damages he did! And that bill is coming due NOW... and poor Stevie has none to blame!

Like most politicians.... he cuts the waste to look good when he gets elected.... we all know there's always some fat.... the political waste! Then he cuts into the muscle to get re-elected.... and hopes he's able to move on to the next step that his ego takes him before the damages have to be fixed!

In Stevie's case the jump to Gov isn't happening so now he's stuck in Suffolk having to fix the mess he made.... hiring Cops to re-man the ranks he's allowed to become so low... fixing the mess with capital program he delayed... hire more folks to do the work of all those "encouraged" to leave under those retirement incentive programs... yep it's a mess!

Time to face reality Stevie.... time to lead... not BS folks into thinking you were really able to do more with less! It was nothing more than delayed servicing on a car.... sure you can put off the expenses for a while and risk a major failure... but the cost only goes up when it's time to fix the problems...as the saying goes "you can pay me now... or pay me later!"

And his ego put him in the position of being a man without a party... jumping from the dems to run for gov.... what a bonehead.... did he think he was Mike B. in NYC?....his pockets aren't that deep as to pull off that move and get re-elected! LOL

There will be pain... there will be tax increases... and poor Stevie is stuck here to face the voters... not siting up in Albany telling everyone how good things were in Suffolk when he was running the show before he left.... ahhh... the good old days!
