What effort. The Dems didn't spend a dime. Suozzi or jacobs didn't even know there was a special. the staff at dem hq filed the paperwork and then didn't pay attention. Does that sound like an effort to you????

This was a heavily GOP Assembly District. The Democrats really didn't need the seat, and the seat remaining GOP has no effect upon the balance of power in Albany. The race wasn't worth it for the Democrats, and the Republicans ran a GOP Executive Leader from a well known political family. No effort was needed or required by the Democrats.

Its only a district that surrounds Glen Cove. Is Souzzi so week that he could only muster 400 votes in the villages right next to him. Or could it be that they are beginning to tire of him.

What happen to his Fix Albany message. Has he dropped that now.
