HAs Roger done the dirty deed of splitting the vote for Suozzola?

You got that right...
What imbecile would run?
05-24-2005, 10:25 PM
The imbecile who runs for CE on the conservative line better keep on running right into NYC because the SOB will never find another friend in Nassau County again - except for dogmeat Bogsted. I'd love to get my hands on THAT spineless good for nothing piece of dirt. Bogsted better enjoy his next few months in office. The bas#$rd is done in every way possible. BAD move jack.
Looks like an opinion
05-25-2005, 03:34 AM
To me I think the poster is saying IF Bogsted is actually that idiotic to run his own dirtbag against Peterson THAN the consensus I'm getting is pretty much exactly what the poster posted.
Mr Bruno
05-25-2005, 10:18 AM
I am running for Ce. Ask Raj.
Don't ring my bell
05-25-2005, 07:29 PM
If that's true than he better not ring my bell - I'll slam the door in his face so fast and so hard that if he doesn't step back fast enough it'll take off his nose and two toes.
Won't make it to the bell
05-31-2005, 01:57 AM
Never mind my doorbell. If I see the SOB who is running against Peterson on the Conservative line walking down the street of my block, I'd do the Indian Oggie Boogie dance, causing him to trip and fall flat on his loser face. He'll be miserable if he runs and more miserable after he loses. And if Suozzi beats Peterson because of him - there won't be anyone but Rog left on the Conservative line - 'cos nobody wants this guy and nobody in the party will lift a finger to help him - or Bogsted.
GO DONOVAN __________ take Bogsted on !!!!
You've now got all the votes you'll need.
Straight Line Voter
05-31-2005, 09:40 AM
Why is it such a big deal if the Conservatives run their own candidate. Are there really that many voters who stay only on the Conservative line. If Peterson can't convince registered Conservatives to cross lines, than he doesn't deserve to win.

It is a big deal. It is a transparent move by rodgie to save his job. It means that jj and souzziola have bought judas for a hand full of jobs and a take home S.U.V. It is not about bruno ,it is all about rodgie. It is a classic case of hurray for me and screw everyone else by a wanna be self centered snob with no principals or pride, and might I add the author of one of the most shameless display's of public brown nosing on record.

WOW! A conservative, who probably supports republicans, is shocked at the Nassau GOP way of life as practiced by his leader! As for brown-nosing, I suppose you've never seen conservatice leaders and Joe Mondello at a photo op.
Face it. You're not upset over the transparent greed and brown-nosing. You're upset that the beneficiary is a democrat.
'Nuff said.
It's not enough
05-31-2005, 07:42 PM
I'll decide when it's enough and it will not be enough until Donovan knocks that SOB traitor Bogsted from his throne and Suozzi stabs him for making him look like a BUTT in front of the Democrats in Albany for taking a stupid, non-democratic stand on abortion to get the Conservative nod - and then didn't and the Republicans have nothing but hatred in their eyes and revenge in their hearts for Bogsted. When the guy is DESTROYED for stupidly supporting a Democrat on the Conservative line, by running an idiot vote taker on their "own" line as a cowardly way to do it just to save his own measly job (which he will now lose anyway), ESPECIALLY when his executive leader and chairman were against it because the majority of THEIR members were against it - bogsted is a worthless lame duck who is now dead but too stupid to lay down.

Or maybe, crafty ol' Rog is telling this pack of patronage jackals, that no longer will they get an extra thousand votes by automatically crossendorsing the GOP stooges?
What has Schmitt done for the "C" agenda lately? In the last four years?
Howzabout the MAgnificent 9 in Albany? Any school vouchers forthcoming?
And we'll give the minority REpublicans in the Assembly a pass this time because at least the got the budget in by April First.
They appaerntly didn't read it too carefully, but it wasn't late.
So no, I don't think Roger's a Dodger. I think he's finally saying, "Nothin's for granted anymore."
He's a stupid coward
06-01-2005, 07:26 PM
Crafty? He's a spineless, fearful cow.
The party has NO power on it's own and never will. The only importance is the cross endorsement power - and now that stupid toad endorsed noone - and made enemies of both parties.
He did that DESPITE the fact that his members wanted to support Peterson - meaning - he's not showing anybody anything except that he's an idiot. His members are supporting Peterson anyway, many of them have already volunteered to help Peterson and they will all give him their vote.
The only thing that jellyfish Bogsted took for granted was his club members.
Mostly everyone in consumer affairs got packed in through Roger Bogsted - they are the conservatives who voted NOT to support Greg Peterson because Bogsted is their boss and threatened them - the same way his boss Tom Suozzi threatened him. This should be a court lawsuit to see if it's legal to have all the voters in a party the subordinates of the party leader before a third party cardboard figurine gets the chance to run. Especially when the Executive Leader of the only active club and the Chairperson both argued against it, because that's what the majority of their club members wanted them to do and because they knew it was best for the party - not those beholded to Suozzi for their jobs.

I agree with the above poster. Nothing can be taken for granted anymore. Everything is in play. Just look at how, in a number of ways, Suozzi was rejected by several Conservative Party decisions:
1) the overwhelmingly and brutal rejection of Dave Mejias.
2) the support of virtually all GOP judicial candidates
3) the overwhelming rejection of Mary McCaffrey in TOBAY.
4) the endorsing of all GOP incumbents in the County Legislature,
5) the Endorsement of Democratic Suozzi Foe - Joe Scannell. an ambitious politician who clashes with Tom Suozzi, and appears to enjoy doing so.
6) Even the endorsement of a third party candidate for County Executive is a snub to Suozzi, who has a strong personal need for approval.
Opps - I drive an SUV
06-17-2005, 01:50 AM
Sorry - I was backing out of my driveway coincidentally at the same time Bogsted's third party candidate was crossing over to get a petition signed. Oh well - I knew I should have gotten a camera back there but I didn't. It's not my fault - really. The guy was just so short (minded) that I just couldn't see him.

That's B--- S--- .Roger was told to run a candidate or else. It is quite apparent now that jj and ts are calling the shots and paper chairman bogsted is nothing more than a paid whore...

Bogsted a paid whore? So how is this different from when Tom Gulotta was in office?
to be or not to be a hoe
07-02-2005, 09:27 PM
Good question. To be a whore means to do things or peform services of an intimate nature for money and/or other considerations. Those in the Conservative Party who support Suozzi can only be considered whores if they disagree with Suozzi's platforms, programs, and ideologies, but go along nevertheless because they are handsomely compensated.
For instance, if you support the unfettered right of Deputy County Executives to sexually molest and manhandle subordinates, then it is not whorish to continue to support Tom Suozzi.
If you believe that political operatives from the City of New York who appear with the County Executive on trips to Albany should be carried on the Parks Department books as "seasonal parks workers," then Suozzi is your man.
If you are Conservative and you sincerely believe that we should have over 200 appointees from the City of New York taking jobs away from Long Islanders who live here and who care about their community, then you are not a whore if you continue to work for and support Tom Suozzi.
If you are a Conservative, and you approve of the soaring escalation in the salary of senior executive appointees who do nothing, then nobody should call you a whore for working for Tom Suozzi.
If you are a Conservative who thinks it is ok for senior Suozzi managers can give themselves credit for their City Service towards vesting their county pensions and obtaining life time health benefits for minimal work in government, then there is nothing whorish or disgusting about working for Mr. Suozzi.
If you believe in tax increases, eschewing the retail sales tax holiday at labor day, surcharges on gasoline and fuel consumption, escalating fee hikes for County Services, and the subcontracting of our county parks to private day camps which cater to kids from NYC, and who tell our own kids to take a hike, then Suozzi is a candidate that any Conservative who loves his own community would embrace with his or her whole heart.
If you believe a sweetheart deals to a big time donor contributor like Charlie Wang, who wants to build a sixty story skyscraper in Uniondale is something that is desirable for Long Island, then Suozzi is your man.
If you are a Conserative who believes in cluster zoning, increased population density, aggressive governmental takings, and the condemnation of private property to support pet industrial and social engineering projects, then you must be peeing in your pants over the opportunity to support Tom Suozzi in 2006 and beyond.
If you support Suozzi's proposal to throw social service money at planned parenthood organizations to "solve" the abortion debate, then you are a Conservative who truly believes in Suozzi's vision, and should embrace it with vigor.
If you support the same sex partnership benefits afforded under the current CSEA contract, and have no qualms with your belief that the former CSEA President accepted a poor contract in exchange for this provision, then you are a Conservative who can feel proud to suport Mr. Suozzi.
