CSEA President Laricchiuta (and GOP Insider) is also a Village of Massapequa Park trustee. That's PO Schmitt's District.

Contrasting Jerry's quote with the definitive statement by PBA Pres JC ("The PBA is not negotiating any further concessions.") makes one wonder if there is any truth to the rumors that Jerry is planning to use NIFA as a boogieman to provide additional concessions to GOP Buddies Mangano and Schmitt for 2011 and beyond.

How about the county stop handing out free money to CRACKHEADS and WELFARE RATS through the Dept of Social Services!? There is about 300 MILLION in savings right there!

And if NIFA doesn't take over taxes will decrease right? Contracts need to be frozen and taxes may increase but the "do nothing approach" with the imaginary budget predictions where all the stars are aligned is just delaying the inevitable. Better to take their medicnie now and move on rather than take anothe rbond rating.

NIFA is in period. Union no deal open contracts.

Before that happens, the administration must demand the withdrawal of the no-layoff clause, then furlough 10% of the County personnel, across the board, no exemptions, not even ordinance. If the unions refuse, call in NIFA.
