NEWSDAY HAS BEEN ONESIDED FOR AT LEAST 40 YEARS. IN THE LAST 12 YEARS THEY HAVE GONE OVER THE LEDGE NEVER TO RETURN.EVERYTHING THEY REPRESENT IS DETRIMENTAL TO SUBURBAN LONG ISLANDERS.PLUS THEY SEEM HELL BENT TO BRING THE LANGUAGE OF SPAIN TO ALL LONGISLANDERS.THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE HUGE POPULATION OF IMMIGRANTS TO ASSIMULATE AND LEARN OUR CULTURE AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE.BUT NEWSDAY IS A SUPPORTER OF BALKINIZATION OF THE COUNTRY AND LONGISLAND.THEY'RE ALSO ON THE SIDE OF OVER POPULATION WHICH IS A BOON FOR DEVELOPERS AND REAL ESTATE TYPES WHO COULD CARE LESS ABOUT OUR QUALITY OF LIFE. BOYCOTT THE RAG.

You sound a little reactionary to me. I guess you pine for the good ol' days 40 years ago in 1963 when everybody knew their place and immigrants were just plain ol' Italians, Irish, Poles or Jews; none of these new fangled Hispanics, Russians, Asians, or God forbid Aleuts.

Nassau is overpopulated, I agree, but that's because we have a high quality of life, low unemployment, a decent school system, and other amenities you can't find in most other parts of the country, even the Midwest.

If you don't like it here, go to Nebraska and find something to complain about there.

If everybody comes here for the quality of life and even you agree where over populated then how can this enhance or suburban quality of life?You also make a statement about the good old days that I wish we still had and people knew their place. What bullshit.If anything it's people like you who cry out racism so often when people legitimately disagree that the word unfortuneately is losing it's meaning.
