Then PD got to use blue, citing safety. Now fire trucks & ambulances too get blue. The next phase is the vollies loose these lites for their personel vehicles, so as not to look too much like 'official' vehicles. Quite a few other states have taken buff lites away from vollies. Here on LI, this would be devistating, as quite a few vollies have more lites on their PUV's than the rigs they are racing to get to. Oh, the drama

that's funny because Crimsons have put out a lot of fire all over the island. There are only 2 pumps made and both companies use both of them. The pumps get you water not the name of the truck.

Commack FD has had Blue Lights on front, back, top,side, bottom of their trucks for years, no one bothers them.

Many vollies have their personal cars lit up like carnival games, when the vtl clearly states 'a single blue light' . . .
