i like levy but what is the deal with the thing in Snewsday yesterday about his campaign calling republicans for dirt? i've worked on campaigns before at the county level and that is totally unprofessional. He looks like a jerk when he says he didn't know about it too.

These two boys -- Cunningham and Levy -- are going to play so dirty with each other this summer that Romaine will seem like a saint in comparison this fall.

is a total retard. Josh Douglas worked on Council Districts and was roundly thought of as a blowhard fool who thought he knew everything despite having no political experience. He probably thought he was being 'helpful' and wanted to demonstrate what a genius strategist he was. The guy is an idiot, ask anyone.

Why is Levy paying this kid? Does he have any real staff around him? I have heard he is a control freak who does not like to take advice.

There are some pols who think they know it all and are intimidated by having smart/capable staff around them. They'd rather surround themselves with yes men or non-experienced people so they can feel like they're the smartest one in the room. Douglas is perfect for that type of situation because he doesn't know anything.

The are a lot of people who won't "play ball" with Steve Levy. Because he won't guarantee then patronage jobs or county contracts when he wins. Those are the kind of people we are fed up with in Suffolk. Romaine and Cunningham can have them. Their money will be wasted on losing races. If Levy has a personality flaw, all of our politicians should have that flaw.
