Anyone know?

The Dinner was terrific because Tom Suozzi was nowhere to be found! And Marylin O'Grady chided folks who were "middle of the road" on abortion, and who support funding of abortion with taxpayer dollars, much like Mr. Suozzi does.

Perhaps this is an indication that Suozzi's trial balloon with the Conservative Party has failed, and that he may wish to adopt more obviously traditional Democratic positions to re-assure the skittish Democratic rank in file.

Suozzi being associated with fundie nutcases would not be a positive for Suozzi.

Sellout crowd, full journal and great speeches. Roger is a major player. Everyone was there, GOP and Dems. And Tommy took a gold page ad.

What you failed to mention is that Greg Peterson also bought a gold page. He also received the warmest reception of the night. Most noticeable was the absence of Gary D and members of the PBA. They didn't even bother to buy a journal add and that is a first. Do you think it could have anything to do with Rodgers alliance with his back stabbing boss? That boycott is an obvious message to the chairman to clear his head and come back to reality.

but where was Tommy?

Suozzi may have bought an ad, but he did not attend the function. Perhaps, Tommy stuck his toe in the water, but found the reception too cold.

It was a good thing for rodgie that his bossy did the no show...if he did show there was a well organized group of grass root members who were going to give libby souzziola the good old bronx cheer..... that might have been a little embarrasing for the chairman, Don't ya think.

So who knows what the vote on the committee is? Who are the deciding votes? Which members on the committee are really conservative?
