Just how long is Tom Suozzi going to be 42? He is at least 46. JJ ran a fundraiser for TS for turning 40 before he was even elected. A guy who lies about his age is vain and stupid because the truth will always out. Loser!

Tom is 42

The reason you made a mistake about TS's age is that for such a young guy, he's accomplished a tremendous amount, even if he will never be Governor.

TS is noting more then a slim ball, he hasen't told the truth since being in office, don't believe his lates episode about abortions its all politically motovated, he want's the right to life vote.

Accomplished WHAT?

If you mean he accomplished being born with a silver spoon in his mouth to a politically powerful family and getting every pre-2001 job he ever had because of a political connection or friendship instead of based on qualifications, experience, merit and paying his dues and winning a 2001 election that the GOP practically handed to him by not even running a supported candidate then yeah - what accomplishments he made. He should be proud.

Sounds to me like you're just a wee bit jealous. Its pretty hard to say either the arthur anderson job or big firm law job were obtained through contacts. Those firms hire lots of Fordham Lawyers with accounting degrees. If he went to Touro law I'd probably agree with you.

Tom worked at Anderson BEFORE he went to Fordham. Connections help, but there are alot of folks with mommies and daddies who are retired appellate division justices - or who are partners at politically connected law firms - and who did not amount to anything. If you are going to be a responsible critic of Tom Suozzi, you have to give the devil his due. Realistically, Tom wouldn't have gotten as far and as fast without connections. This is true. But the point is that he did it. Yogi Berra may have helped his talentless child Dale to make teams in the big leagues, but Dale's talent wasn't enough to stay there.

Tom Suozzi needs to be taken to task, not for his connections, but for his failure to do good by them. Tom entered public office with a mandate for change, to build a better government and a better world. Instead, Tom's terrible selection of key employees has created a cesspool of cronyism, incompetence, waste, and bad behavior that would even make his Warren Harding blush.

Why does somebody on this board keep referring to fordham like it's worth anything? It's not. Fordham is not a first tier law school. Columbia is, NYU is. Fordham is ranked in the Gorman report in the same cluster as St. Johns (which has beat it some years) and Hofstra which comes damn close. It's the same tier - it's only a second tier law school. It's not a big deal.

Suozzi's father and the appellate court judge Suozzi went to Harvard. If Suozzi had half a brain in his head, with his families money, and connections and the fact that his family were HARVARD MEN - he should of been able to get into Harvard - a first tier law school. But even with all that behind him - the best he could manage is fordham. He's an all round failure.

PS - Arthur Anderson hires ALOT of people from hofstra and st. johns - both undergraduate and graduate as they recruit heavily off those campuses starting with the junior year of undergraduates and the summer of the second year for graduates. Combine that with a famous name - and you got yourself a job.

The devil gets no dues from me pal. Kiss his ass yourself.

So many people are worried about Tom suozzi running back and forth from 1 West Street to his "iam running for Governer of Nassau County Headquarteres", however they should moniter his trips to the Plastic Surgon's office in Garden City, his telegenic image is fadding along with his hairline.
