For several months now it's been rather quiet on the third floor of Huntington Town Hall.

I gather that Susan Berland has learned to get along with her staff and her co-workers despite her personality.

Although I hear that some members of her party are still upset in the way she has dissed them over councilmanic districts.

Time will tell us how much damage she has done.

I heard Susan Berland was Attacking Mr.Kornfeld for being a traitor to the party.

Just like how she dissed the Town's Black civil rights leader Paul Johnson's grandson.

Mr.Kornfeld didn't take it lying down either. He wrote a good piece in the Long Islander to the editor.

He showed how the present Democrats in Huntington have taken the local African American community for granted.

Mr.Kornfeld is no slouch. He's a Democrat Committeeman. He goes on to say the Petrone "Democrat" administration has done nothing for the Black community.

This is so true here in Hutnitngton Democrat Party machine of petrone and shaffer have hurt minorities.Petrone also shot down council districts. This would have given Blacks a better chance of being represented fairly.

Incident with councilwoman Berland didn't help when she debased a youny Blackman for supporting a Black woman for town council.
