Weel, now that Harvey could not deliver the D line for Dennis, his plans for DA are in the air. In addition, was Scannel promised the run this week? Insiders are talking.

Will Harvey take on the race, or bow out. Insiders say he WILL NOT run since the master plan has failed. Who is up next, or will JJ and TS mereley put up a sacrificial lamb to save funds for the leg. races?? The nomination convention is right around the corner.

Your info is solid and I share questions. It's looking like sacrificial lamb for TOH.

finally and get rid of Dennis Dunne, Sr.

What a waste of dead wood sitting in Mineola. The man hasn't done a damn thing for his constituents. The man doesn't even walk around his neighboorhood to see all the "for sale" signs.

Who could the Dems put in place to unseat Dunne?

Levinson was just elected County Assessor two years ago. Is he that bored with the job that he wants to RUN FOR something else? Or does he now realize that the job is way too complicated and he wants to RUN AWAY from it?

Why not have Levinson run against Murray? He's been getting a lot press lately (most of it good) and has name recognition. Murray would be vulnerable to a well-known opponent from the Suozzi camp. It would force the Republicans to spend more money than they would otherwise. Most importantly, if Levinson beat Murray, which would be quite possible, the Dems would control the largest Town in Nassau County and make it much easier for Suozzi to consolidate services between the County and the Town.

Finding someone to take Levinson's job if he left would not be that hard.

Mr. Levinson can't even convince 10 Democrats(the legislative members) to vote for him. How's he going to get a town full of Republicans then to vote for him as Supervisor? Murry 68% Levinson 32%.
Kate - hammer him on just how dumb he is!

The County income tax issue alone should get Kate to 65%. Remember Levinson didn't win the Assessor race; Charlie O'Shea lost it!
