Yes it is levy's fault-and dormer right along with him. These two have done nothing but outright lie to the legislature as well as the public with bs stats and made up #'strying to show that crime is down, but anyone with a shred of intelligence can see that VIOLENT crime is way up. 20 something shootings in a week in amityville area and now 3 in hunt sta???? Something is very wrong. Mr levy...hire the policemen that I am paying for. You r singlehandedly ruining out county. It's just a matter of time before this violence becomes countywide but by then it will be too late.

This is about the violence in Huntington and the corrupt politicians who have brought this all on.
Steve Israel had a solution for all the illegal aliens flooding the main streets and side streets and stores, have his friend and Democrat fundraiser Mr. Rosen who owns land in the area rent it out for use by illegal aliens and tax cheat employees.
Steve Israel got his side kick Supervisor Frank Petrone and the dems to agree to use taxpayer money to pay Mr Rosen. Over a million dollars was made from renting out otherwise useless land for 10 years.

Now if Israel wasn't up for re election in a race where Democrats are the underdogs because of Obama's socialist agenda maybe the site would be still open.

On Levy he should have been sitting on the Huntington townboard that way he wouldn't have to worry about filling out his financial disclosure forms at all or doing them correctly. The SCDA never did anything about Huntington politicians who broke these ethics laws so why pick on Levy now ? Corrupt Newsday and politics.

He hired a class of 70 cops a week ago, and SCPD had 77 retirements this month. Levy said he wants to hire almost 80 cops at the end of the year? How does that help the scheduled 200 retirements in January? Not to mentinon our taxes were raised for 200 new cops for 2010, yet 70 + 80=not 200. And its wishful thinking on that 80, ill believe it when i see it. And why were my taxes raised for 200, when there are almost 600 im paying for that no longer exist? I dont know! Levy magic I guess!

Newsday didn't "turn on him" when they reported that the university was his wife's client, nor did they turn on him when they reported that Levy hid that fact by bypassing the county financial disclosure requirements.

The dem politicians finally closed the day labor site, unfortunately it was 10 years to late. Yet the slumlords in the area made a ton of wealth and still do despite all the hoopla. Congressman Steve Israel's friend and a Democrat fund raiser Brad Rosen the owner of Oz Development made a million or more dollars from taxpayers by renting the nearly valueless land to the town for use by illegal aliens and tax cheating employers.
