The deal is a 2 year extension. It includes raises, disappearance of Quarterly days, and no givebacks. The catch is a Suozzi endorsement.

This should all take place within the next few months to ensure an easier campaign for suozzi and an oppositionless re-election for the PBA executive board who are all up at then end of this year. Makes me think whether or not this was the plan Gary had from the get-go --- initially give something up and get it back to make himself look good and ensure his future.

Ya think Gary really planned all those give-ups and take the most heat (& criticism) from his membership than he's ever taken in the past how ever many years he's been at the helm---with this last contract--just so that he can "get them back" and "look good" because he & his board are up for RE-election?! ....u think he would intentionalllly do this because he has soooooooo much faith in suozzi and his word that he would rely on that strong bond to support each other with endorsements and accolades that neither one of them really needs to get re-elected............ :roll:
