Maybe Kate can get this place cleaned up. Echo Park today is a cesspool of a facility that's littered all over with trash, and the ballfield is a disgrace. That baseball field was a prized jewel when my kids played little league up until 4 or 5 years ago.
Do they really need to have 4 people at a time working the cash register of the pool? Total waste of money.
On five or six different occassions I went to speak with the park "Manager" and he was never there. Finally, when I did meet him, I realized why he was never there: he was the fat slob that I'd ALWAYS seen outside smoking a cigar or getting out of his truck with a bag filled of La Bottega grease. I'd seen this pig outside smoking the cigar and eating ALL the time and looking rather creepy that I had at one time considered calling the police on him. Little did I realize that he was the park's "Manager". And he could use a shave too. If you're going to be a park "Manager" then lose that filthy beard (it's not hiding your fat face at all) and now that goatee as well (not very professional looking).
