I am an active cop who volunteers his time to help out the animals in suffolk county. If only more of my fellow brothers and sisters in blue would help us out. Remember the Suffolk County S.P.C.A. is a volunteer basis so those who criticize us I ask you this: Why aren't you helping your community instead of just being lazy. The men and women that volunteer their time utilize their own resources to get the job done because some people in suffolk feel that it is okay to abuse and neglect their animals. Maybe next time I call for three weeks that two dogs were left alone in a house, they SCPA will respond. Until the SCPD showed up and saw that one dog started eating the other, which had subsequently died, only then did the SCPA show up. They were too busy to respond before that.

The SCPA only showed up because the police called in a problem. Another County Agency that has fallen apart. SCPA Needs a big overhaul.
