Let's draft Steve Guttenberg to beat King. He can use his celebrity to finally take that seat for the Dems!

Draft Neil Farbstein instead. He has about as much a chance as Guttenberg has against King, and then some. Besides, only a moron would vote against one of the few remaining GOP congressmen from downstate. Look dummies, the rest of the country is moving to the right, New York cannot keep on its leftward suicide run. New York is rapidly losing its political capital and population to the midwest and the sunbelt. Prestige alone is not enough to enhance NY's presence in Washington. By 2006, the state stands to have a Democratic Governor, both houses of its legislature in Democratic hands, court sanctioned gay marriage, and state budgets crippled by court decisions establishing unreasonable spending on NYC Schools.

Besides which, our two Senators- Mr. Schumer and Ms. Rodham-Clinton - are among the most offensive individuals in that particular body. Schumer's campaign against Christian judges should come back to bite him - and the rest of New York State - right in the rear end. And Hillary Clinton goes without saying.
