Dr. Hankin is a GREAT superintendent!

As a Syosset resident, I wish to make my support of my school board and Dr. Hankin clear. I know that she makes lots of money. However, she deserves every penny of it. She is a tireless advocate for the students of this district. Our schools are top-notch thanks to Carole's leadership. I am shocked and saddened by my ignorant fellow residents who are going to vote against our fine budget and our fine schoolboard. Anyone smart understands that it costs money for a fine school program. I am not opposed to the taxes, as taxes are an investment in the future!

I am an adminstrator for a Nassau County school district. I would take a pay cut to work with this woman. She is the best in the business.

With the money Dr. Hankin makes, she can afford to be well kept and look like she's in her 40's when she's in her 60's. With the loot she's bringing in........why retire?

When is CArol's contract up. I"m told she is looking to retire after 05-06. Anyoen heard any rumblings on this? Maybe with a new super we won't have to pay them as much because frankly she's making too much $$$

What are the terms of her contract. I can't imagine what her buy out will be when she buys back all of her unused sick and vacation time. I bet it will be over 300,000 dollars on top of what she already makes a year.
