Suozzi Gave Out $68m In Last Minute Contracts!

Comptroller came out with a report today that Suozzi approved $68M in last minute contracts in December. That's 6 times as much as he did in December last year. And 11.7mil in the last week which is 10 times as much as last year!! Talk about wasting money until the end.

For god sakes - a good lawyer can figure out how to break these contracts - there is no privity for a successor party - namely Mangano. Cut out the jobs. Move them to Buffalo. Reduce the salary - disqualify contract employees from getting benefits. Post their pictures in Newsday. Do a background check. Publish their financial disclosure forms. Set investigators following them around. Rescind the contracts or make them quit. Get RID of them.
There is no excuse for keeping the non-contracted appointees either.
