Take this how you like, but are you guys arguing like this at work too?

The majority of what I read here are people attacking each other for being in different locations, different titles (PD vs. Sheriff Vs. CO Vs. ...), spelling mistakes, etc...

I realize it is very easy for people to say what they want while hiding behind a computer, myself included, but are you guys like this in person?

I did well enough on the tests to take the job if I want it, but I am concerned that all you guys do is fight on the job.

No you have no way of knowing who posting here is even an adult let alone a officer. A lot of disgruntled non- officers like to post here because its a anon and they can pretend to say stuff to us they can't in reality.
In the real world most other officers would at least be respectful to your face, but on a site like this, someone with sour milk officer or not, can get his cheap shots in.

Try not to listen to most of the nonsense being written on this board. It's true that some cops don't like each other, but its like that everywhere you go in any profession you choose. Alot of these posts are from people who aren't leo's and enjoy stirring the pot or the very slim minority of PO's airing out frustrations on a public board. Some of my best freinds are the guys I work with. So to answer you, the answer is no, it isn't like this once you get in.
