Not true. Scpd is getting worse crime wise, and govt wise, but it is still 400x better then nyc. I'm still not making what I did in the city, but i wont be getting ripped for what some knucklehead piece of garbage did under my watch. My pension is safe and secure, and a few years ago what i vowed would be 20, out and working a shit second job, is now my job until I retire for real.
The 2+ hour commute, 70+ miles a day marathon has been replaced by the 7 minute 5 mile commute.

I am glad I took this over the dep sheriffs though, now those are some ex nypd that have got to be kicking themselves.
