Somewhat true... often if an opposition to anything takes it too far, it winds up diminishing the message because the protesters start looking bad. This has the unintentional affect of elevating the one who is being protested.

I had heard ahead of time that the guys would be down there. However, I had assumed it was going to be more low key, perhaps even just clandestine filming from a parked car in the lot if possible. Then, all the participants could have been filmed and exposed. And if barely anybody showed up it would also have been useful to show how pathetic the turnout is. That might have been the better approach for this.

Remember when Roger was worthy. Wish he would just resign (save a little dignity) and let the Conservative Party go back to steering government to the right decisions. There are many leaders who are willing & able to take over. As for the Tea Party protesters, thank God for America. I just hope they don't lose all respect by going too far. Everyone is missing the point, how can Roger hold a fundraiser in the name of the conservative party and not tell the party? Why would he hold it one day prior to todays fundraiser??? This is disgraceful.

The protesters were right on. There is no sympathy for Roger. He has always been out for number #1 Roger. He held the fundraiser to run primaries against members of the committee. That is disloyalty.

Jim could have seen Mr. Mangano in person at this event, instead of sending comments through Facebook. Russo has pushed for 3rd party campaigns against the GOP NYS Senators and Hansen ran an ill fated third party campaign. These are the positions that these men and women have to live with.

Don't get me wrong. I personally like poor Jimmy Reed. We're FB friends, etc. Some in the GOP have watched Jim to see whether he distances himself from RB. He hasn't. He went to RB's $250 breakfast and then skipped the $75 dinner the next night claiming he couldn't afford it. Any hope that the GOP might look kindly upon Jim all but vanished. He'd need to do some heavy lifting now to recover. Were I Jim, I'd call Danny and ask to sign the petition for Roger to resign.
