No one is saying levy should be locked up. The point is he is claiming crime is at an all time low, but since his election to ce crime has risen drastically.

It is truly sad that those two people are dead, but "using" them to make a point about the dramatic rise in violent crime may open a few eyes of those who are foolish enough to believe levy

Yours is the same gut reaction I had in reading the OP.

Here there are two bodies, one we can safely say was truly innocent, and some McGurk spins this tragedy into his silly narrow-minded politico agenda.

I'm not sure if he qualifies as a scuzball...yet he easily surpasses the standard for being a jerk.

When the little man goes on TV and tells us all how great he is because he has not raised taxes while maintaining services, my stomach turns. The police dept. is at an all-time low in actual sworn officers, and morale. He moves cops from one place to another to temporarily fill needs and give the appearance of a fully staffed, properly functioning force. Violent crime is UP in Suffolk as a result of this mans mismanagement, and if you don't think a MOTHER and CHILD killed and left in the woods is any indication of that, then all the explaingn in the world isn't going to change your mind.
I'm sure you will be convinved once someone breaks into your car or home or worse.
