Trolls will always be trolls with their firehouse/donut shop replies, but the spin coming from H.Lee has come to a screaching halt. It seems that since Levy turned his sights on Albany, he must have re-assigned his hack/spin team to unleash his demented math and logic on the poor souls upstate.

He has been un-levy like! But wait till the contract comes out, probably at the same time as perb too. He already has the press release, and the Newsday front page article is already waiting to be printed. Hes a slimeball, and him being quiet only means hes up to something.

Yeah a smart man would know if you had real ambitions of a higher political office you should start cleaning up the mess you have created because thats not going to fly in the rest of the state. But thats the key, "a smart man"....he will blow it!

No doubt he will come out swinging, taking shots at the arbitrator(even though he refused to negotiate and left a deal on the table), the "greedy PBA"(even though he "loves" cops), and the Legislature(because they are getting tired of him games).

The police are getting a good contract because Levy was unwilling to work on one with the pba that would have been less than what the arbitrator will give them. As for the Sheriffs, they will most likely have leave the highways back to the police dept, who had control of them for decades, and afterwards because of all of the hours they put in performing police functions at the order of Steve Levy, will get a very good contract as well.

Bottom line is that Steve Levys hatred for police is going to give them bigger raises through arbitration and parity, than a County exec who would have been willing to sit down and negotiate.

most of the general public is uninformed, and believes whatever spin they are spoon fed by our local "media". That plays right into Levy's hands. He has the media in his pocket, and he is the master of the 30 second sound bite that blames everyone else. He has no interest in solving the county's problems, he is only interesred in getting re-elected and he'll say anything to do it.
