Amusing that all the speculation has been about Democratic challengers to Gillibrand and maybe some Republicans. But who are the Republicans putting up against Schumer? Remember, there is a "two-fer" this year.
Seriously??

Wait a minute. NY is voting for two senators this year? How did that happen?

Clinton Resigned to become Secretary of State! Paterson appointed Congresswoman Kristin Gildarband. She is running now to fill the remainder of Clinton's term (2 yrs).

Last I knew, this former drug user was a Connecticut resident. Had mulled a challenge to Lieberman or Dodd in the past.

Funny how Dems always make excuses for Teddy Kennedy (killer), Joe Kennedy (drunk driving leaving a girl crippled), Pat Kennedy (drunk driving, dug addictions), Barney Frank (gay brothel in his home), Charlie Rangel (tax cheat) and so many others, but are quick to point out the past misdeeds of GOPers. It's, as usual, Incredulous.
I do think Mr. Kudlow's cocaine use precludes him from serious consideration, but thought pretty much the same about Obama and pot.
But I'm not a partisan hypocrite, Incredulous.

Whoever runs against him must connect with the people and plain just ignor this arrogant bully.

Since I asked, not a single suggestion of a plausible candidate -- not a single elected official, even at the Town level; stupid Kudlow doesn't even live in the state. Amazing, too, that nobody besides Lazio wants to challenge Cuomo Jr. If the Republicans were really energized, confident, etc., would draft plausible candidates for governor, both Senate seats despite the odds.

Actually a quality candidate but this might be a bit too much. Of course these days you never know. But I think he's too important in OB and besides I have to think there are other plans for him.
