Suozzi is basically being paid to do "rep jobs" for the Dolans at high school sporting events. Perhaps he is being paid handsomely. But a rep job is still a rep job.
Hell, maybe they can use Suozzi as a 12th man on the Knicks!

The Lighthouse Project will be moved to Woodbury.
Whoops! Too close to Oyster Bay for Wang's taste. Leave it in the poor area of Nassau County. They need the urbanization.

This is an embarassing job title for the man who would be president but maybe Suozzi figured that Reagan was once a pitchman for GE and so if he's a pitchman for the Wantagh H.S. football team he's positioning himself for future greatness.
You know this has to be a no-show payoff from the Dolans. It seems the great Suozzi just doesn't like working for a living and so is willing to humble himself as long as he doesn't have to show up from 9 to 5 like the rest of us (I hope Cablevision doesn't use the inTime system but even if it does Suozzi will probably get someone to swipe his card).
Suozzi's work ethic isn't really news to the County workforce. We figured out years ago the man isn't much of a worker except when he's feathering his own nest. What's next in the Suozzi career path? Sports anchor at News 55? Didn't Teddy Roosevelt start there?
place to go

Thank God for LIPA and Cablevision. All the broken toys now have a place to go.

Hey Long Islanders...it's getting to be time to dump Cablevision and make due with alternative entertainment...take back you own authority and let the boys play in the sandbox...why should WE finance this holes romp thru fairyland...on the other hand if he puts on some orange clown pants and some ginormous yellow shoes they just might have a new Anchor...
SUOZZI GETS PAID!!!!

At least it is still less then they have donated to his campaign.
Cablevision laid off blue collar workers and the rest had to take a 15% pay cut, but Suozzi is given $250,000/yr????????????
outrageous!

Is this true? If so, where is Newsday's union on this?
Suozzi's $250,000

How much did Cablevision and the Dolans donate to his campaign anyway? Is this their way of having him work off their contribution?
Didn't Fran Purcell work for Cablevision 10 to 15 years ago?
I believe he had a weekly show.
I think he was Republican wasn't he?
Can anyone tell me how much Fran Purcell was paid by Cablevision as a commentator?

But was this during one of the worst recessions in history, as well as after Newsday fired employees and made the rest take a 15% pay cut?? Get your facts together.

There has to be a story or press release from Newsday's union on such a move.
Says who?

Cablevision paid Stephon Marbury $22,000,000 a year to NOT pay basketball. Two Fiddy Kay is a drop in the bucket for Herr Suozzi. Who knows, if LeBron James likes blonde middle aged white boys, this could be a good deal. Otherwise, Suozzi is about as productive as Carlos Beltran's damaged knees.

There is no proof just more Newsday/Suozzi hate and making up stories. $250,000 to cover high school sports, how gullible can people be?
