the arrogant one

speaking of arrogance. It seems that some attorneys have nothing better to do than "cop Buff" on this forum.
too bad they should be studying harder, is it just me or is the average defense attorney 2 steps behind the''bumbling'' street cop?
Different world nowadays. cops are far more well schooled and court savy. They owe it to the citizens they are protecting that they can at least hold their own in court.

Protecting huh? Wow you coulda fooled me. You pick and choose who your protecting and who your harrassing too. At the taxpayers expense :x

Thats YOUR opinion. In reality isn't it your own dissapointment where you'd rather punish the one you thought was gonna be a done deal? Too bad the academy doesn't teach you how to woo a woman.

I've met many ill educated people who have an abundance of common sense, compassion and morals. All of which can't be learned form reading a book, although many "educated" folks are good at faking them.

Somebodys got to support your multiple marraiges/familes. The health benefits you all have , that we don't are killing us!
so go get a job, stop scamming welfare, then you'll be able to buy food without food stamps
Would you ask you multiple marriage/relationships to give up thier claw appointment? Then why should I give up $800 per month food stamps? Hey wanna buy some so I go get me some crack? :o

A lie is a lie is a lie. And with a simple twist of fate, for example, like several of those police officers being personally sued in federal court for a false conviction, you could be held financially responsible for your lies instead of dumping that on the taxpayers. When you play, you will have to pay, too. That "brotherhood" crapola will fly right out of the window when a PD has to dip into his life savings to cough up the big ones for your lies.

This is supposed to be a "police issues" board, not a liberal attorney trying to drum up business from the "poor mistreated" perps. Go pay for an infromercial (or whatever it's called) to sell your cop suing skills.
pba lawsuit

seems like there are a lot of people looking to sue for custody of their pba cards, hey its a start counselor, cant do a homicide on your 1st case now?

Why do the taxpayers have to pay for law enf. legal fee's and awards?? Recently a young officer won several hundred thous. of dollars and we TAXPAYERS PAID FOR IT! I assumed it came from the PBA, police or sheriff's funds.
Mr Levy??? Can we change this?
numbnuts

blame your civilian counterparts that sue the county because a officer burped near them. they bring in 20 expert witnesses to testify costing the county 30 grand to rebutt, so the county settles for 25 grand.
when a officer or civilian sues it comes out of the counties insurance fund, doesnt directly affect your taxes

wrong those cops were actually martians, not even legal ones
hows the hose theft case going lol
Too bad the academy doesn't teach you how to woo a woman.

What about town employees like myself who are not fortunate enough to be in the Suffolk PBA? who pays for my law suits?
Also why are you suing the Union? If you were harrassed at your job, injured at your job, or otherwise subjected to violations of your civil rights, you sue the employer, stupid.

Woo as in courting, wine & dine or dating?? It gives one tine to see what they're getting themselves into. YOU may view it as a prerequsite to sex but has nothing to do with sex. It just goes to show you, your mind is always in the gutter.

I never said I WAS SUING THE UNION! Also after consulting various atty's I've been informed that in NY state, one cannot sue thier employers. Civil rights violation complains expire after 90 or 120 days and unfortunatly I didn't get to them within that time frame. I have other motives as to how I will proceed with my prior politically connected boss, I wans;t the only one. This "woman" was notorious for tyrannical behavior and frequent lay offs and changing rules to meet her every whim. STUPID.

Why should the county pay for you bullies? If the union is supporting bad cops with massive complaint histories including being arrested for unmentionble acts, then they should pay!!!!

Like it was posted, county dont pay, not one cent of a lawsuit comes from taxpayers.
You dont sue the union, you sue the employer
I will have to look into it further, the Legislator I discussed this with has misinformed me. I was told that a prior Cty Ex placed it into the lap of the taxpayer.
Who pays then??

LOL good one, but I'm not the azzkissing, begging type.
I must say that I learned a few tricks from the clowns, never know when they'll come in handly  I bet they have they're familes & friends under the illusion that these animals are professionals. Little-miss-goody-two-shoes and her tap dancing around ethics.
