What's the story about a cop from the 5th precinct being arrested in Florida for CPCS while attempting to board a plane?????
The article I read said Boca Raton police searched the seaside hotel room he stayed in and found a latex blow-up doll named stuffed discreetly under the mattress. It's purported the rubbery luv curmudgeon is sporting a henna tattoo across her chest titled, "Daddies Gerl." Though according to Sheriff's Department spokesperson Alan Skidmore, this is unconfirmed at this time.
I also read that prior to this arrest, the officer was being investigated for wearing a cap device that did not conform to department standards.
I wonder which offense, if any, he will be convicted for?
Wow that one actually made the news??

I have heard fellow officers trying to say the Vocodins were not enough for his back pain . What a joke ! Since when is crack a legal alternative to a prescription med. there is no excuse for this jackass. The shame is the a--hole will still get his 3/4's when he gets fired , that is if he gets fired. Stranger crap has happened. He is nothing more than a common crackhead that we deal with everyday. To all the guys who know him , stop sticking up for him. He is a disgrace to all of us.

If you had written this in the form of a request I would respect your opinion.
Yet when you write your opinion as if you are commanding others how to act, It's hard for me to believe you are a well balanced human being who is intelligent enough to allow others to form an opinion...in other words youre nothing more than a overbearing lout...which tells me you are probably a cop.

I understand the junkie Suffolk cop sustained the back injury rolling around with a driver who refused to surrender his PBA card. Word is that this cop was confiscating PBA cards and selling them online to support his drug habit.
I guess he didn't know that after unlawfully seizing a person's PBA card he was suppose to return it to the Suffolk PBA, not smoke it.
Lead by example

Why shouldn't he keep his job PQ caught on duty doing coke w/ his partner in a bar w/ a coke dealer is now the Commanding Officer in charge of the 3rd Pct. Using the twisted logic that allowed that piece of shite to not only stay on the job, but rise to the rank of Inspector I guess PK should be allowed to stay and become a chief someday. After all PK just has to say "I have a problem, I have a disease" take a one year suspension like PQ did drive a truck to support his family and study his azz off for the Sgt. exam. Stranger things have happened. As much as things change, they stay the same. New day, new azz kissers in charge.

He may wear a badge but he's a perp and it sounds like you're sticking up for him. Just because the dept. f... up once doesn't mean that we should hope that they do it again. It makes a bad name for the rest of us if we stand by this crack head.

You forgot to try slip in the word illegal, you know how you are really trying to prove its illegal to confiscate pba cards but cant prove it after 90 pages so you'll post it here

I'll have to get back to you on the name of the Narcotics detective who about 6 years ago failed multiple dole tests for weed. He got to keep his job, thanks in part to a certain DBA pres. now SC Legislator who will remain nameless. The Det. in that case was judicially impaired and the job had to find a warm hidey hole to accomodate his "disability" The word was out, it was common knowledge by the DAs office that somehow whenever this particular Dick and his partners did any buys their Kel never seemed to work (not that they worked well under the best of situations). I'm not defending PK, what I am saying is that this F'd up job has a long history of allowing this sort of thing. Certain protected classes drunk on duty in a sector car getting into pursuits with their Sgt.s who were just trying to switch them down to sign their book (5th Pct.) Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. To play devils advocate for a moment, I think PK should be afforded at least the same opportunities as the coke head CO in the 3rd received. Either fire all of the druggie perp scum or none of them. It seems that the latter has been the norm here. The job deserves what it gets. Random and for cause testing are a joke. Newsflash, I'll give you two reasons why more testing isn't done. 1. It costs money to have the wiz tested and money to take a cop off of the road to do the testing, quite often requiring OT. 2. They just don't want to know, ignorance is bliss. If they become aware then they might have to do something. Even when the powers that be find bosses especially who have problems they don't do anything about it. To the previous poster who was chastising anyone percieved to defend PK I say this... If you don't like it too bad your'e own boss ilk has defended, retained and promoted many multi-substance abusers who have gone on to be defendants in many lawsuits from cops who were subjected to hostile working environments by those same druggie bosses (3rd Pct. CO). Ultimately those jury awards and settlements are paid by the taxpayers, yet those bosses aren't called to task for their illegal actions. If Levy had a set of cubes he would stop surrounding himself with and advancing some of the biggest dirt bags who ever made rank. RP, WH, DE etc. If you want to change a culture of anything goes, start by weeding out the crap at the top and then work your way down. The fish stinks from the head. Just an examination of the number of supervisors above the rank of Captain who have been forced to resign or face demotion and indictment shows there is a problem. MR, JAlb, CG, DS, RC etc. So am I defending PKs actions, hell no. I am also not surprised given the level of criminality by his "leaders" and I use that term very loosely. The dept. has proven it's intent to retain and promote criminal druggies, so why stop in the case of PK.

I respect very much the opinions of the prior posts and am in agreement on alot of their comments. I should not tell other PO's how they should feel or react to PK's actions but to let them form their own opinions. And yes there are a number of things that have happened over the years that should have been handled differently ( i.e. PQ , and TF the drug seller /wrestler from the 5th). In the last 20 years the job has hired over 2,000 pO's , not too mention there's still at least another 500-1000 that were here prior to that. You have maybe 1% bad apples giving us all a bad name. my point is that I feel we should not stick up for the PQ's and PK's on "our" job. I think it is time to take a stance and do what's is right. if we don't take action and condone it because guys like PQ have gotten away with it in the past then we are just fostering an environment of acceptance. And that goes even more for Supervisors. We are supposed to lead by example. I understand that there is always going to be a very small percentage of dishonest people (in every line of work ) but if what they are doing is not just dishonest but illegal then they should be punished. As PO's we are expected to abide by the law even moreso than john Q Public. call it a double standard but we are expected to enforce the law and are not above it. once again i apologize for coming across in my prior post too forcefully. I hope before I leave this job that there will be a day when guys like PQ ( and the ways of dealing with them ) have gone the way of the Dinosaur. stay safe

What you say may be correct about the tests, but the US Dept. of Justice wants the tests that way. The US DOJ has sued Suffolk, Nassau and a bunch of other municipalities and forced them by way of a decent decree to use the current lot of crappy tests. The DOJ then has the balls after forcing Suffolk to use a particular test to then claim that the test is discriminatory against the runts, cunts, and other lesser forms of life. Any semblance of intelligence or job related testing has been shattered by the the DOJ, you know the Department of Justice, the parent organization of the FBI. The same group that brought you a cross dressing director and F'd up Waco, TWA 800 and hard intel that towel head scumbags were taking flight lessons. Since they don't give their own agents memos or advise any creedence I guess that means we should do the same.

After reading this, it's very difficult for me to show much respect for the Suffolk County Police Department. I am sure most civilian readers would agree.
This is very sad for the handful of officers who do have honor and integrity.
I can't imagine the animosity a law abidibg Suffolk Police Officer holds for his fellow union members who live a perp's lifesyle.
I can't imagine being a straight-up cop and having to work with perps known to the police department.

Believe what you want, there are always the handful of bad apples in the bunch. There is no difference between a officer and any other human being, some are going to be bad. Of course computer lawyers like yourself take the opportunity to bash all of us.
Most of the names posted up there are not in patrol, and are not officers they are people of rank. As much as we dislike or pity these bad apples, we despise the civilians who lump us in with them.

Ms Manners is obviously a mental patient, convicted felon , or mental defect . As with any job there is a a certain amount of scum. the 1% of bad PO's give the other 99% of good officers a bad name. For you to put in your reply " the handful of good officers " is just plain ignorant. But then again you are probably some crack ho .

You are the perfect example of a know it all who jumps into a discussion without a clue to what you are talking about. The only reason you posted here was to get a potshot at the SCPD. In your cheesy little attempt to make fun of the entire dept. you made a monkeys ass of yourself(again).
Read the article again, oh jealous one, Dicks are detectives, COs are inspectors, protected classes are the offspring of White shirts, RP, WH, DE are all white shirts that were promoted under the new regime,MR, JAlb, CG, DS, RC etc. are also white shirts.
You are the perfect example when I explain to my wife why the neighbors or parents on the baseball team either don't talk to us,(envy)the minute after finding out I'm a SCPO or suck my butt clean for a PBA card.Except for the normal, non-keeping up with the jones types that are actually happy with their lives.

This seems to be a univeral mind set on this chatboard where when anyone who dares to disagree with you, has had multiple arrests, lives in a trailer park, a crack ho and has mental problems.
When was the last time you accessed yourself? Do you speak to your wife that way? Be careful your daughter is not a witness to your disrespectful attitude towards women. YOU are the first male influence in her life and theres a strong possibility she'll grow up and fall for a jerk just like her daddy.

Where did i say anything on paragraph one?
what did I say in paragraph 2 thats disprespectful towards women?
My daughter is 20 years old, but thanks for the tip, and unlike some people who post here frequently I talk to her everyday.
Why would i access myself? Would you be meaning assess?
As usual your post has nothing to do with the current issue. Someone posted here assuming all SCPO were perps based on a few examples of Supervisors who are. I corrected that and gave my opinion of people who jump all over SCPOs on issue boards without any 1st hand knowledge.
Where do I call anyone trailer park perps?
Where am I disrespectful towards any gender or creed. I am disrespectful to people who either ignore me until they find out what I do for a living and want to be my best friend, or are friendly towards me until they find out what I do for a living and then never say a word to me, unless they need something.
My poor wife actually has had to endure all the B/s for years at the busstop about how we dont do anything(I wish) or how I should personally take care of all the teenagers on the block that drive fast or make noise or just hang out in front of their houses, simply because I work as a cop somewhere on this planet.

Sorry. There was some hillbilly here (mustv'e been a deputy) who wrote about some of us being crack ho's living in trailer parks, etc. Not that I really give a shit what s/he thinks of me, as you already know.
Thats very sad about your neighbors being that way. And I thought I had crappy neighbors  who call the cops whenever a pin drops or if the kids were playing manhunt and actually being kids.
My next home will be off LI out in the country on as much property as I can afford. By the way I always drove my kids, it gave us some extra time in the morning to get it together and I didn't have to deal with the gossipy neighbors.

What a coincidence. That's the very same thing Preston Dorfman said about me when we were in 5th grade at The Holy Methodist Church/Academy of the Episcopalian Disciples, Inc. Two days later he offered me a Valentine and I fellated him in return. What you got for me Bigboy?

That is funny. What are you basing this on? How many officers do you actually know? answer;none
Other than what you read in Newsday, what firsthand knowledge do you have of what police do? none.
What bars do you know of where cops line up and booze their brains out? What officers do you have first hand knowlegde of drinking while on the job? none. Notice my response to your first ignorant post,Most of the names posted up there are not in patrol, and are not officers they are people of rank. We are not proud of any cop who is bad.

Right, so I go from melville to manorville and how are my calls answered? Dont forget we are gps tracked, every 15 minutes we are updated as to where our position is, unless the 125k a year shirt has taken a fancy to me and updates manually.
Again the examples posted were all supervisors, believe it or not, we dont hang out together, and we are not in the same union.
Cute though, most people where I live make a decent enough salary where the first thing out of their mouth all the time isnt '' Wah, you make too much''

I am beginning to think you were born with a brain stigmatism. Who cares about the rank drug using cops? What’s more disgusting is coverup
No stigmatism, its your ignorance. For starters, I personally know 3 officers who dropped the truth on one of the white shirts. Not only did nothing happen to that white shirt, but all 3 of them were screwed.
The way you imagine us Police actingthere are a handful of officers who do not let drunk drivers go, for any reason...There are a handful of officers who do not ignore the law when dealing with police officer's family members of who have committed crimes...There are a handful of cops who do not accept freebies at meal time...there are a handful of officers who do not spend hours sucking down alcohol after (or during) their tour before driving home to their loved ones...there are a handful of officers who do not look for every angle possible to get out of handling a job properly...there are a handful of officers who have not been tainted by the street cop culture and take pride in performing their duties in a manner consistent with the law and their training...There are a handful of officers who have read the entire US Constitution and do not view it as a obstacle or hindrance to performing good, honest police work...there are a handful of officers who would gladly perform their job to the best of their ability, regardless of what they are being paid.
are the way many brass, above the rank of LT. do act. They call themselves the special or the select few, the ones whose offspring make the job no matter what, whosse offspring or relatives can recite the numerical answers (example a,d,e,b,c,a,) for 95 out of 100 questions on the promotional exams 2 weeks before they are given.
But you dont know this, you just like bashing cops for how good it makes you feel about yourself.
Let’s be honest, you must be a pretty fukked up Dude if your neighbors won’t talk to you…and I’d give short odds they find your paranoia not only repulsive, but potentially life threatening
Never said that. The neighbors who dont talk to me are the ones who either want me to be the mayor of the block, that is here the local problems they have and fix them, or want something. The normal people who are secure with their own lives, and dont constantly bring up how much we make, or how easy the job is;( I fondly remember after a car pursuit a few years ago, where I tore my knee up and had a broken cheekbone, and I was home recuperating for 3 months, my favorite neighbor telling me how nothing ever happens out here. )I get along just fine with. Its the miserable mutts(no offense) who have to sit there and talk about things they heard at their job(assuming they actually work) about us, and make generalizations just like the ones you are making, hey where do you live?
Also any reason you talk about yourself in the third person? delusions of grandeur perhapsResponding To Ms. MannersMs. Manners did not bash all cops.

Nope what they really are asking is ''Can you fix a ticket for me?"
''How about a pba card?''
''Tell my neighbor to clean his leaves off my property.''
''Can you tell my son to clean his room for me?"
''Can you give me some free legal advice?''
''Can you run someone's license for me tell me if he's a good guy to hire?"
"Hey that guy that moved in down the block can you check him, he seems shady''
In other words, what can you do for me Mr. Cop?

My question, who was the Priest teaching the class, and who was the actual 5th grader?

Certain protected classes drunk on duty in a sector car getting into pursuits with their Sgt.s who were just trying to switch them down to sign their book (5th Pct.)
Whats good for the goose is good for the gander.

The guy is so famous that they even made up a nickname for him: Capt.Cocaine. There was a story that CC presented himself to Dickie The Dunce with his resignation papers and DTD told him to put them away - and made him a Chief.
What the heck, this very brave man contracted his affliction while working undercover in narcotics. He really is entitled to the same disability pension as those two jokers that were mentioned in the SIC report.
Is it true that CC got caught trawling for booty and coke in Gordon Heights and the cop that caught him got a dressing down?
You guys are a joke.

Everything was transferred over to the SCPD.
It quietly went away.

i remember having long talks with the koz on the mids, about "vag". he liked his bare board. aside from him fading in and out of the conversation, he was somewhat entertaining. lighten up vagman, you two had alot in common.

The arresting officer failed to appear in court. I think he tool ill.
The case was dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

You don't know the 1/2 of it. Some of these rogue cops are still smoking pot in front of perps. Drinking? That is still legal so why not get drunk on duty.
This thread was revived for some reason. I heard a story just the other day where cops were smoking pot while on duty. Now when it comes to Suffolk I have to say I would believe most anything. But this was too hard for me to believe even though I had reason to believe it may be true. How do they get around the random dole test with pot in their system? I guess it doesn't matter.
I bash away a lot at SCPD. Not the vast majority of the cops. I actually feel bad for them that they come into work and have a 'perp' boss telling them what to do and they know the boss is a perp.

Is an officer a perp if he drinks and drives a few times a week and does not get caught with a BAC of .06 or higher?

Just figured it should be pointed out that "perps" come in all shapes, sizes, and colors...including police blue.
