No plows, road crumbling apart. This village is falling apart. What do I pay for? Just what do I get from this incorporation? No sewer, No gas lines, no police, No street lights. No quality of life laws, or inforced. I'd pay more if their was SOMETHING good, but as it is now there is NOTHING. Seems like another redundant layer of government doing nothing for its residents

Can't help with the rest but ask Steve Levy about the shortage of Police. FYI 413 covers most of Lake Grove, but take away the calss at the Mall and businesses on Rt 25 and not much patrolling going on, Not to mention that car is shut down on the midnights and relies on another sector car to cover the sector.

Years ago, maybe now even, I'm not sure. The Village of Brightwaters supplied a Police car to the county's 3rd Precinct, all the county had to do was supply the officer to fill the car. It insured the village some extra patrol.
