My left testicle is 2 centimeters larger than the right. Do I qualify for free anything?

Still curious

Was he really at the Suozzi fundraiser and if so, what the hell was he doing there?

01-20-2005, 08:17 AM
If he does, it is not enough.

probably makes much more than that. you forgot to factor in his unlimited expense account that he has. New recruits make 20thousand dollars per year while they're in the academy. Ex treasurer fast eddie told the arbitrator that he made 40 thousand dollars one year selling hot dogs and thats why he should get built in overtime because he has no time to sell hotdogs while he works for the PBA. Did he claim that 40thousand on his taxes that year. Maybe he needs to be audited with the rest of the PBA board

Two guys get busted for snorting coke, so they have to go into court on a Friday. They go to court and the judge says, "If you can convince more than 5 people to stop doing drugs for the rest of their lives, you won't be sent to jail."
So the two men agree and the judge tells them to come back on Monday.
So the two guys come back on Monday and the judge asks how they did.
''I got 17 people to get off drugs,'' says the first guy.
''Wow, how'd you do that?'' asks the judge.
''I used circles. I told them that this large circle is your brain before drugs and this small circle is your brain after drugs.''
''Oh, that's nothing!" said the second guy. "I convinced 156 people to get off drugs.''
''Wow. How'd you do that?'' asked the judge.
''Well, I used circles too. I told them this small circle is your asshole before prison...''

Im sure gary had good intentions when he first took office. I guess the temptation is just too much. Theres no oversight. They can do what ever they want and nobody questions him. thats why we need a change in the PBA. We need more oversight. Independent audits etc... Did you ever ask gary how much money the PBA has and what there holdings are. He refuses to tell anyone. It's time to come clean. It's time for change

Todays the day they count the ballots. Maybe change is forthcoming. All we need now is for Alibaba to retire......before any kind of investigation is done and the whole PBA is brought down.

Duh! The Suozz & his PR team would like nothing better than to discredit Dellaraba and bust the only union in the county he hasn't been able to get a grip on. All the other presidents/unions have been purchased by the Suozz in inside deals and corruption deals - resulting in civil service violations up and down the "ladder" - using personal service contractors and "appointees" for jobs that should be getting filled through civil service, using workers to work out of title, massive layoffs , fear, intimidation, contracts that forego even cost of living increases while his appointed democrats from nyc take home 20% pay raises - the only group of workers in the entire county he hasn't been able to screw has been the cops (I'm not one of them, I'm one of the screwed people warning you all) and it's because so far, your president has been faithful to you. Don't let Suozz give him a bad rap and watch out for his PR people posting on this site. He wants to break you up because he can attack people who don't stay united. That's what he wants and that's what he's trying to do now with the Gopers - turning the workers against the leaders in their own party. Watch for his tricks. Esp. before Novemeber.

Listen to B/C its Suozz......Look I'm not a police officer but I come from a "police" family and have worked with several unions in the past 20 years. Some of you make pretty staggering accusations about this PBA and I'm sorry you sound like a bunch of cry-babies! If there is one union prez that has worked tirelessly--sometimes to a fault---it is Mr. Delaraba. You may not always agree with him, but you know where he stands and he is in this job 24/7, getting benefits for ALL members, not just himself. I find it hard to believe that he would not answer a legitimate question about PBA funds.

Not a cop doesn't get it. Read it again. B/c it's Suoz isn't a diss on Delaraba, the PBA or the cops. It's a warning not to let the anonymous crap popping up on this board against them sway the stance of the cops to stick with him and put up the wall against Suoozzi. Read it twice if you have to. And remember it over the course of the next 11 months.

PS - Guest - you're starting to grow on me.

In the old days maybe but somewhere he made a wrong turn. but actually if you think about it, they always seem to take care of themselves and screw everyone else in their last few years in office....... kind of like the politicians co

No I got it---when I said Listen to B/Cause its Suozz---I meant because I agreed w/that post!!
I still think that no union has achieved more for cops than this one. Quite frankly, it seems like cops have gotten more and more (deservedly) and still want more & more (lately).

What other union head got a $32,000 raise...when everyone else got 3.9%...(By the way he got the 3.9 % to)... You should wake up...only on to sell out was that PBA.............Why didn't the county bring up the stipend that the union pays Gary.......One might thing that would have offset the income they made working part time......Or how about Gary and the rest of the executive board getting a $12,000 pay raise the year the rest of the union took a lag......

Let us not forget that Gary gets paid by the union and has an expense account.... But what does he get paid by the union.... Once upon a time the members had to vote for raise....They would not approve the requested raises... So the boar changed the BY-laws.... One little problem.... Since I am not a lawyer this only my opinion.... But I am under the impression when a right is reserved for the general membership (Raise) they are only ones who can vote to change.....

Try to look at the PBA books....every member has a legal right to.... Why won't they let the members look at the books....What are they (Gary) hiding.....

While it is just my opinion, it is time for a change

A few years back Gary attempted to raise the membership dues. It was voted down. Gary and his boyz got all bent out of shape and made all kind of threats like no more christmas parties etc... Next thing you know theres some secret vote and this time the dues increase passes. Instead of asking for a couple of hundred dollars, this time the union gets one percent of whatever your base salary is, increasing every time you get a raise. Now theres no need to ask for a dues increase ever again, right? You would think not. Now we're paying a couple of bucks a day for a media fund. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE PEOPLE!!! If everycop on the job pays $2000 per year to the PBA and theres 2000 members(not including associate members) the PBA is bringing in about 4 million dollars a year..... plus interest, real estate holdings ect...

PS How many people went to the Christmas party this year?

HEY SAL AND MARK, why don't the two of you grow up already, you were both invited to look at the books (just like everyone else is) and you refused. Maybe you should look at the yearly audit and get a clue, stop passing out BS rumors from your Relatives and try to tell the truth, isnt that what you swore to do when you took this job?
