This was a ridiculous thread from the outset. And in a tit for tat fashion, it likely inspired the other thread about ghetto trash and democrats. Really both of these threads are useless and I would ask that deletes both this thread and the other one.

People... nearly 50% of our nation is either democrat or republican. It would follow suit that there are those from the lowest strata voting in each party as well as those from the uppermost strata voting in each party. NEITHER has an exclusive claim to wealth and affluence nor the shame of society's trash. And the middle class is also evenly distributed.

Party demographics change somewhat from region to region too. However, in Nassau County (praised by Ronald Reagan), those with more money, white collar, etc., have always been predominantly associated with the GOP, except for wealthy liberals who happen to be mostly jewish. To somebody from Jericho or Great Neck, they associate wealth and democrats. To someone from Garden City, the view would be diametrically opposite. Each alternate reality is quite foreign to the other, but neither is wrong

I say both threads should disappear because they serve no benefit and only cause partisans from each side to unnecessarily combat the other from the emotional insult. It was wrong for whoever started this, and it should end now.
