mark capodanno just gave himself a $10,000 a year raise along with all the other democrats on town council
now his salary is 60,000 a year plus benefits along with the other dems
so how come the property taxes are going to be raised in my neighborhood of Northport to over a 1,000 a year extra in taxes?

they took several sector cars from that area
you would think they would do more to help the public than to give themseves raises

How about the 2.35 an hour (cash) you pay your illegal bussboy? Maybe the lack of decent paying jobs, and the overall "me first" attitude that all local business owners have is the reason?
It seems the owners of many long established business's in the Huntington area pay squat wages as if this were still 1965.

I found Out from Friends that some Houses Owned by Local Speculators are listed as only a single dwelling house yet The Assessment cards Show them as Having as Many As Six families in Them
And this is in Northport
So What Gives With This :?:

They should charge each boat registration 1000.00 per year extra for dock construction and maintainence.
99% of residents don't own boats. Let the 1% who do pay for their own expensive and highly exclusive recreational needs.

the district placed way behind Huntington, Half Hollow Hills, Commack, South Huntington, Kings Park, Smithtown, Miller Place and many others yet we all know it's not the teachers fault or the administration

You Northporters need some really tall apartment buildings
I know the head of town of Huntington community development agency would like to get a couple of them started
Think of all the people that would get jobs from the projects
Think of all the needy out of towners who would find affordable housing
And if you are against these apartments or projects ( another code word according to leftists like Joe DeVincent head of community development )
your a racist middleclass bigot just ask newsday they'll never lie

What this town needs is a dose of reality.
Stop creating stupid children. Marry OUTSIDE of your gene pool.
Turn in the 3rd Beemer and the 2nd career. A school is only as good as it's parents, and in this town too many parents are too wrapped up in their careers and their own financial success to raise their kids with respect and a willingness to learn. The school is nothing but a babysitter for you. When your kids fail YOU failed.
Stop giving your kids 50 bucks to "hang out." They're all running right to the Bodegas in East Nortrhport for beer, and then right to Veterans park to get wasted.
You're all raising a bunch of spoiled rotten brats, which is to be expected from a parental pool of the same ilk.
Ask yourself, does you 8th or 9th grader REALLY need a cellphone? Get over yourselves.
population explosion

some developers have their eyes on you
they want to add more housing in the village of Northport which means apartments
they want more stores and taller buildings plus they want to bring over tourists from New England by ferries
its all about money and not your quality of life

Mark Capodanno did vote for not allowing any environmental impact study of apartment buildings on a community. In essence he voted to allow apartment buildings to be built and not have any quality of life concerns addressed.
Just like some said two years ago, Capodanno is going to make Huntington look like Queens along with his Petrone Democrats on the town board.
Cappy said no then yes

he said no to apartments then he said yes to have no environmental study needed to have apartments

More like low income housing
Why is the building inspector not investigating this?
Why do we still have these problems with illegal housing?
Why cant they just do their jobs.
