Here is an idea..... keep track of your kids....tell them not to get involved with gangs or herion and if they do get involved your "good" kids will be the ones burglarizing, breaking into cars and doing robberies in your neighborhood dont blame it on someone else!

If the Police and Courts did their jobs and focused on drugs, maybe we wouldn't have this problem! A young man was arrested in Bethpage with 50 packages of Herion. 50 PACKAGES! He was released without bail Friday? I would think having 50 packages was at least "Intent to sell" or "Distribute"!
Children make mistakes using drugs. We must hold Dealers accountable for killing our Children. The Police Department has to devote more resources to fighting drugs. And the Courts have to protect our Children from these Drug Dealers.

The Police did their jobs you dolt. He was arrested and its not the cops fault that he is out the next day. There you go blaming the problem on someone else and put the blame where it belongs, on the user.

He was not charged with a felony because our legislators have constructed the laws so that it takes possessio of approximately 72 bags of heroin to make possession a felony. If he was selling it and caught doing so than the amount of bags would not have mattered. Call your legislators and ask why they enacted new laws that went into effect this October which have reduced the punishments that those who possessed the heroin or other controlled substances are treated?. The legislators wanted to repeal the Rockerfeller laws so badly that they now have made it even harder to convct the heroin/drug dealers. Most drug deals are now facilitated by text messages and quick meets at a predetermined place with the price set, a quick hand to hand and they are gone. Parents if your 6 foot 2 inch 240 lb linebacker son is now 170lbs and no longer interested in football etc, hopefully you'll ask questions and you'll see a problem...heroin?. Parents, Don't blame society if your kid falls, just be there to pick the kid up and hopefully it won't be to late.

It was no where near what it is today. Most of the Heroin arrests are in middle class Nassau...Massapequa, Levittown etc...unheard of years ago under Dillon.
Why?
Because Nassau has a system of NYC style justice under Rice. There is no fear of doing real jail time.

Rice just finished her first term. Show us the stats on how much heroin use has gone up and why Rice is to blame. Otherwise just STFU.

This is going on all over Nassau County, arrests are made only if you complain.
