What a jerk, things like this will be the end of the VOL FD. This jerk gets on the air and balls out the dispatcher and telling him his boss will be calling his boss. I hope Newsday was on the call. Hey jerk if you had a problem go on the phone and maybe next time you will not look like a ass

Chief yelling at FRES dispatcher about a pre-plan that was set up by those depts!!

That disp is one of the better ones. Thankfully he didn't entertain the chiefs uncalled for rant over the radio. A sign of a real professional. That chief needs to call FRES and apologize, and specifically to that dispatcher.

I have to admit that most of the time the MBFD's chiefs are easy to deal with, I don't know what happened that day, So I say "give him a break", we all have bad days from time to time

Speaking of Billy Bee running the department .... what was the deal with the last water rescue that the good old MBFD had at Smith Point last week ... a report of people in the water.... No Shit, it's a beach !!

Billy B is seen in his POV driving like an ass and running red lights down the Wm Floyd .... When he gets to Smith Point he pulls up on the boardwalk like he is the GOD of water rescue calls, and starts barking orders like a junk yard dog.

So to me it's pertty simple, if you are going to have a commissioner, running red lights in his POV, screaming & yelling on the radio ....why wouldnt the chiefs do the same thing.

Lead by example ... Right ??

For once we can say .. GOOD JOB FIRECOM, for keeping it professional on your end. It would have been so easy for you to come back and slam the chief on the radio ... and put him back in his place like he deserved. But you didnt ... you kept it PROFESSIONAL ! ... FIRECOM your actions on the radio that night did not go un-noticed we all heard it.
