The County Executive must replace the Commissioner of DPW-Parks.
Nice Guy or not, The CE needs Someone He can trust running that Dept.
D'Amato donated to Souzzi, not Mangano! Check the financial reports. Big Al only cares about "Al, Katina and Wang".
The Commissioner screwed up the Sewer Plant Issue in the 7th LD big time.
And there are too many Consulting Engineering Projects.

He should start packing, only a very few will stay. Anyone with a P.E. License can take over that job!

The Bogsted/Hansen nonsense. These two sad actors will reap what they've sown sooner or later. In the grand scheme of things concerning the county payroll, these guys simply don't matter. They may even keep their jobs for a bit in this backwater county agency, but eventually Rob Walker's hatchet will find its way in their direction..

Did they do the the estimated Lease value for the Lighthouse Property? They came to the Party with Souzzi, they leave with Him.

Right and then Suozzi turned around and made long term renatal agreements with Rexcorp on several buildings while county owned facitilites that once house numerous agencys sit vacant.

Well, when the county ultimately sells those buildings, such as the old DSS in Garden City, it will bring money into the county treasury.

The cost of rental space is cheaper than the cost of making over all the old buildings and maintaning them.

Because some Republican Lawyers 25 years ago robbed the Public Treasury at Mitchell Field makes it OK for Souzzi to do it TODAY? Wang's Lease is wrong! I love to know how many Law Firms represent Wang's interests in Nassau County and how many of those Firms donated to Souzzi's Campaign? There should be public disclosure of Lobbying in Nassau County.

They moved Social Services into quarters that are too small, the people on line, have to wait outside in the rain. How can it possibly be cheaper to rent a building? Is the Landlord losing money? It is always cheaper to build, especially for Government, long term bonding for the project. That why Private Companies beg from them, "Yankee Stadium"!

The County should fix the problems in the Social Services Building instead of selling it. If the problems were so severe why would anyone buy it?

Garden City will have the sale of the old Social Services building tied up in the courts long after your dead and buried. The residents don't want anything done with the land in question, they'd rather see the building sit vacant in its hole for the next 100 years.
