You were overtaxed by 33% prior to last years 15.00 tax raise
Now the county wants to raise your tax 30.00 more. Thats 5-10 % of your police tax, and well over 10% of the true cost of the police.
The number of police have dropped every year.
Yet your taxes are going up.
Why dont you stop taking it out on us, and call your county leaders and ask them why this is happening?
And btw, I dont know where you live, but my school taxes went up more then 30.00, and lipa is planning a 1.5% rate increase, that will cost me about 40.00 a year.
If 30.00 a year is truly too much for you to pay you should have left 5 years ago.

most of your post is bs, but the tax for the new police was discussed in May, by the non pba backed leg and the non-pba backed leg of last year taxed you 15.00 per household for a class that never made it either.

Btw I worked for the nypd which has a lower crime rate and less calls per cop the the area scpd covers.

Lets be honest....the democratic leg united with scpd to fight a common foe,
steve levy. Scpd pba is a large and powerful union. The candidates we endorsed wanted our endorsement to seal their "tough on crime" image.
so there is no ass kissing, no selling our anything, rather a trade off.
During election time every politician wants his mug in a photo shot with a leo union.
Steve levy has rubbed his own party the wrong way. There is talk of finding a worthy demo to run against him in the next ce election. There is talk if he was to attempt a run at governor a switch to the republicans.
