Wow, i agree. To those on the outside, his name came virtually out of nowhere, but in a short campaign season, boy did he pack a big punch on election day. GREAT candidate and a very welcome returning candidate and promising talent in the Republican party! Congratulations to Lee Tu for almost pulling it off.

Lee Tu the future? He ran a nice race and put up good numbers in a strong year for Republicans. As a lifelong Republican, I had no problem voting for him, because he was a credible candidate, and much better than what we've come up with in recent years. However, we should be careful not to confuse a decent guy and decent numbers with "the future". Mr. Tu is still very much like most of the candidates our party leaders come up with - he hasn't actually accomplished anything (yet) in any aspect of government or community life. Talk to me about "the future" when he can point to significant accomplishments that could put him on a level with the Democrats. Whatever I may think of Kaiman and company (most of the time, not much), the Democrats have a line up of "brand names" with records to point to. We must not delude ourselves that we can be on their level with candidates who are "record-less".

One of lee Tu's major drawbacks is his association with Jeff LaSquadro. No one likes this guy. He thinks hes a big shot because of his family $$. He's a real jerk and Lee needs to get rid of him
