First dinner there were 1600 people, the second there were 800, now down to 400.
Wow - that Jay Jacobs is some fundraiser.

Here is how it goes. In order to get comped to a Dem fundraiser, you need to do at least 1 of the following twice a week...

Ask Tom Suozzi for an autographed picture,
Tell Ian Seigel he looks good then go shopping with him or
Go the 3rd floor of 1 west and sit on the internet for 1 full day,

The choice is yours!!!

The more miles you've walked with petitions, the less of a chance you have of being comped. If you've ever hung signs during the Suozzi CE campaign, You are definetely not getting comped. Basically If you do leg work, you ARE being overlooked. Well, I shouldn't say that, maybe they'll let you work the fundraiser. Then you'll get to stand at the front door for 5 hours but you can't come in the room or have anything to eat or drink.

If you live in Glen Cove and/or send your kid to Jay's camp, you go free.
BUT-If you have ever been seen with Tom Dinapoli and/or Larry Aaronson in public, you have an option, you can pay double!!!!!

I think that the breakdown was probably something close to the following:

complete comps - 50

guests who paid the committeeman discount even if they were not committeepeople - 150 -200

Full fare - 550-600
