Bogsted will be out in January and the leftover D's (legislative, etc.) will be shipped to Consumer Affairs --lock, stock and barrel. All of Roger's people will be out.

There is no other explaination for his running his own candidate other than collusion with Suozzi. His party endorsed Mangano 7 times. On that basis, Boggie must go. It is insulting that he claims to lead conservatives.

I say this, not to invite some leftwinger to take advantage and pile on but...
Seriously, I always thought that most conservatives were largely intelligent people. I would be ashamed to be associated with the Nassau Conservative Party. Bogsted is a disgrace and he has embarrassed and ruined that party in a myriad of ways. Any they actually let him do this? It is right there in your faces - he's running the spoiler Hansen, in collusion with Suozzi. If you all do not send Bogsted packing, then you are truly a hopeless bunch of cowards.

Bogstead does a great job for Nassau County Conservatives. He must be allowed to stay and also to continue his great work at the Dept. of Consumer Affairs! He is his own man and will not be thrown out.

I wish the Republicans would shut-up about the Conservatives and put their money and efforts into the Mangano campaign. I am a disenchanted Conservative and I support Mangano.

Suozzi's fundraising advantage is only increased with the Hansen campaign acting as a 1 - 3 percent buffer, and Newsday surpressing the gravity of Suozzi's many failures. Mangano's efforts have been valiant considering the uphill battle he faces. If the press covered the race correctly, Hansen's campaign should hurt Suozzi, not help it, since this is such a crude example of conflict of interest. The Hansen campaign is an example of dirty third party politics, and Suozzi should be taking the blame for it.

The biggest losers with respect to the Hansen campaign are the conservatives who genuinely want to see the end of liberal Democrat spendaholic policies in Mineola. And in the end, since Suozzi will have to distance himself from conservatives, even those registered conservatives on the Suozzi payroll may find themselves upset with the outcomes this November and beyond.
