No speed limit?

OK guys....what's the limit? I was on the LIE this afternoon with cruise set at 70 and was being toasted by numerous vehicles.I passed a cruiser sitting on the side with his radar aimed but we all just kept going.....what's the deal? Then again.....maybe he was a 'dummy'

by law any speed over the posted speed you can and will be stopped. if your on the lie and there is an actual officer on the road and you speed past him you can be stopped.
as it is well known the staffing levels have been cut by the county exec, so this doesnt happen very often

Try the SS Pkwy @ 5:30AM. If you do 55-60 in the right lane you are dead meat. Motorists up your azz displaying the finger as they cruise past you at 70+..

I don't know how there are not more pile-ups. These morons (the majority of drivers) are in medium to heavy traffic, doing 70+ and leaving two cars lengths btw them and the next bumper.

I now use 27..it may take a little more time but I feel a lot safer.

If your a cop and people have been asking you for new pba cards you shouldn't be giving them to that guy/gal to begin with because they are a pain in the ass who just want an excuse to break the law and then hand a cop your pba card like they are handing a waiter their visa card or they have diplomatic immunity.
if your not a cop then try this on for size.....stop driving like an escape mental patient with downs syndrome and maybe you wont need a pba card...shocking proposition to actually do what you're suppose to do.

I only give my pba cards to exactly those types of people, in fact prior to the gift of my pba card I tell them " this is a get out of jail free card, drink, drive ,speed , recklessly no regard for street or taffic control devices. Then when you are stopped demand immunity and give the cop a hard time, make him call me anytime day or nite to confirm that I know him, then pull away and drive like a escape mental patient with downs syndrome''
I in fact order at my own expense 300 extra cards and give them out right at traffic court and tell them to show the judge

Hey thats all good if you are the friend of a cousins girlfriend's daughter of a retired police officer my view is see no evil here no evil, write no paper. There are plenty of County Residents with no hooks to write, in fact I specialize in just them.

suffolk highway loves writing over cards. I had a card of mine written from a guy who said "my shield is the only one that matters". I can report that I have personnally written 3 highway cards. Whats good for the goose.
