Boggies had C fundraiser at Plattdeusche today in Franklin Square.

At least 10 protesters were there holding up Mangano and Tax Cut signs. Whats interesting, as I attended, is that Boggies is taking credit for paying for the lawsuit against Bobby Kalotee Kumar, so that the I line convention for judicials is null and void.

Boggies has been told his days in the County are coming to an end so he is curring favor with the R's.

I felt bad for them. They looked like they were lost souls taken out of some kind of group home.

Granted, they were a motley crew, but have some respect: these were the same "wacky conservatives" who organized the defeat of Joe Scannell in the Conservative Primary. Word to the wise: Don't make fun of people who banged you like a gong.

Can you imagine this..... the Hempstead GOP Republicans who went to this event were greeted by Tax Protestors favoring Mangano, and denouncing Bogsted and Hansen. How did Roger explain this to Joe Cairo?

That's funny, I didn't realize Roger Bogsted owed Joe Cairo an explanation. Do you know who Joe Cairo is, or anything about him?

Joe Cairo is 2nd in command in the Republican Party, and the person who probably brought a significant number of the attendees to this fundraiser, including his own tables as well as several Republican office holders from Hempstead Township. If I am a high ranking GOP operative who cross endorses Conservative candidates, I would want to know why this fundraiser that I am supporting is being picketed by tax protesters. Except for Presidential nomination conventions (Dems in Chicago 1968 and GOP in NYC 2004), I have never seen a political fundraiser that was actually picketed. This is quite unprecedented.
