View Full Version : Commissioner Dormer

Commissioner Richard Dormer is to be complimented for his steady leadership, his ability to work with those interested in working, his adherence to the principles of law enforcement and, most of all, his willingness to take on the loiterers, clock-watchers, patronage parasites and pension-penders in the department who have been feeding at the free-money trough too long while producing nothing. The department under Commissioner Dormer is intent on cleaning out the dead wood and the donuts-behind-the-firehouse crowd. Commissioner Dormer brings to the department not only his on-the-job experience at every level but also his education-based management structure. Goof-offs of all stripes and gender would be well served to perform to the Dormer standard or retire now with their rank intact. As a wise woman in Europe once said, a word to the wise........!!

Seems like the sour grape patrol is out in force tonight. I know Dormer and I know he's a tough cookie. I know he'll never tolerate lazy clock watching blues or fat slobbering blues who spend the shift hitting uo 7-11's for free food to stuff into their already over-fat bellies. The old order has changed, guys. What Dormer wants is really radical: a day's work for a day's pay!! Gallagher's gone and Dormer's the Mon!! leave if you don't like it and good riddance.

I think u need to look at the women on the job thread. Then again, i don't believe u are really a cop anyway just the same old EDP with a new name. Isn't Dormer the same guy who said he could run the dept with half the amount of officers? The same idiot who decided to shut down sector cars. What do you mean he is not going to tolerate officers who feed their fat bellies? What is he going to do about it? He can do nothing. The only thing this guy has done is make idiotic statements and make life a little easier for the criminals. Way to go commish.

The only good thing he's done so far is abolish the redundant stat sheets.

Hey "County Resident" a.k.a. JimCondron, what happened? You chaged your moniker! The old one finally lost all credibility as your eternal whining finally exposed you as the Neanderthal pantload that you really are?
Of course Baba Rum Rasin always knew this, but my wit and intellect is quick as an arrow. I have been busy mastering my world renowned tan and preparing for the Tibetan Tanning Expo next month, so a lot of time in the sun, where my wireless modem tends to overheat.
Hence no posting long time.
Nevertheless, I am back for the week in Palm Beach with my main squeeze, the still shapely Ms. Joey Heatherton (big announcement coming soon - nudge, nudge, wink wink!).
So I am happy to see that you did not gas yourself in your new G.E. oven, as you had threatened to do last time I made a quivering bowl of Maypo out of your babblings, to get even with me. Medicine, when used as directed really will help you. I'm sure that book that Joey H. mailed to you after her recent visit with betty Ford was quite helpful to you?
Yes? No?
I may have time to torment you at least one more time before my return to Nepal, so don't hit that bottle of Bali Hai too hard for the next few days.

were have you been, this ocd cop junkie has posted under 50 names, wonder how he has time for anything else in his life. kind of a honor knowing some people think about nothing else but scpd, can you imagine him at his lunch break," yeah those shopping carts were all over the parking lot, but did you see they raised our taxes another 10% for those donut eaters, must be nice. maybe the next time 312 drives thru the lot he'll wave at me"

someone posting nearly everyday about cops, isnt a honor its pretty sad, maybe scary.think about it. its almost like stalking.
the fact that this edp can post any article, sometimes multiple times, and receive 8-10 posts arguing the points hes making, telling him to shut up, or making fun of him, merely gives him fodder to post again.its called negative attention, same reason an ignored child or dog will rip apart your furniture or wet the rug.

My heart goes out to Commissioner Richard Dormer.
He inherited a patrol force of uniformed officers who for the most part, have more interest in collecting paychecks than performing the functions they swore they would perform.
I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to deal with a police union that cares more for it's members than the people their members are paid to serve.
God bless the good people of Suffolk County who by electing Mr. Levy, snubbed the police union that did not endorse him.
We can only hope that Mr. Levy continues to say "FTP" and does what it takes to insure the police provide proper, professional services to the People of Suffolk County.

Every pct has its own pocket of savages whether its stratmore ridge, gordon heights, mastic, bellport, C.I., brentwood, wyandanch, etc....... Savages are savages no matter what area they live in. None are any better or worse than the next. They don't contribute anything to society let alone their own neighborhood. I'll take the savages anyday though over the snobbish people who think that a loud dog deserves a call to 911 or that their neighbors car parked in front of their house requires a police response.

savages fufill a huge roll in society. they prey on the weak, like our edp poster (hopefully.. and soon). giving us the all important easy stat. nothing like when a local goes out and it describes your local reg customer to a tee, u beat him home, get a +id, run him for 45s and theres your 32 for the month and next month too. hopefully hes out in 2 months and the cycle starts again.
not!!!!!!!!!!!!

All differences with the Dormer standards should be taken up with Commissioner Dormer whose door is always open. The backbiting and calumny evidenced here is useless someone is dealing with the problems. Come on, guys. Call up the Commissioner and ask for time to talk. He doesn't bite, you know!

I like Dormer. The PBA and SOA were firmly entrenched against him and his boss. I think they were wrong and the SOA has said as much. But he has promoted many Bosses and Who has ever heard of 38 Detectives on 1 teletype. He did away with Stat sheets and it looks like he is letting the CO's command their own ships.
Bad time for whiners, times are good for those folks who worked hard in CCU and studied hard. Sorry for the whiners who would complain no matter what.

Because he only cares about himself and those who contributed to his campaign. Check the facts - just about everyone who got promoted donated money to the campaign and or sat on his Public Safety transition team.
