Got to be the republicans. Dissolve the village, employees become town employees, more patronage then becomes more votes and control. Makes sense.

This is not going to happen, but if it did, trust me, the Republicrats would not be behind it as it would be a disaster for the town of Hempstead. Besides, if it were true, it would be Suozzola and the Dems who would push this kind of thing.
