Please advise of his condition.....Word has it that Nassau trains their recruits in trailers, and the temperature on the day of the run in these trailers was extremely high....Did the academy itself help cause his cardiac arrest??

I meant no disrespect to the recruit. It was a terrible tragedy. My point, was, it was the first days of the academy, and they had just began running on that day. Maybe he had a preexisting condition.
I would just like to work with with 20 somethings. Not 30-40 somethings. 40 year olds that haven't been Police Officers before, may not be the best choice. The department also did a rush job in screening the candidates. If he had a preexisting condition, they should have caught it.
