Occassionally, I deal with some of the Airport Fire Guys in the Chiefs Council. The basic fact here is that on more than occasion, some of the Supervisor Nolan's Captains have crossed the line. Instead of slowing down thier attacks, they get vindictive and push forward. The problem is that Nolan's people have made comments and threats and innuendos in front of alot of us non-town employees. If you remember, alot of this nonsence started when Nolan's Labor guys suggestively ask some fire chiefs if they also were town employees. It was no secret that they were, this was just an intimadation attempt. A few of us saw this and were concerned for these town employees, who are respected fireman in the town and county. A few of us kept our eyes and ears open over the next few weeks and saw witch hunt develope.

Enter the latest character in the mix, Wick ( great name btw). So Wick, who for his entire life has been a self serving blowhard..and very good bottom dweller, sells this package to the Supervisor that he is the answer to every emergency service problem. (Little does the Supervisor know...Wick is actually the cause of every problem). Anyway Wick, thinking he has earned " Captain" status in the Nolan clan goes on this personal campaign to systematically defame anyone who he fears may be in his way of his self promoting plans. All the while Wick brags about the cloak of protection that Nolan's captain get. You see Wick is not that high up on the food chain as he tells. The Nolan people are using Wick to undermine certain departments and gather up info to report back. Once they have used Wick to the fullest capacity or the heat of this deceptive action becomes too strong for the Nolan campaign, they will publically step on Wick, and the Supervisor will tell the Chiefs Council.." I have addressed your concerns, it wont happen again" Of course the Supervisor would like the Chiefs council to believe that he stepped in for "us" in the council..when in actuality..all the Supervisor is doing is further protecting himself. This is politics 101. We just have to be smarter. So justice will be served. Wick will be useless to the Nolan admin, and he once again will be forced to look up at the moss growing underneath a rock he crawled out from underneath. Wick in the last few weeks has told many, many people that he is going after certain peoples jobs. I smell a lawsuit developing. In fact...I smell that one has already been put in the works.

All I say to my "honorable" brothers in the Chiefs Council. Please stick together on this issue. A slug has infiltrated our great organization. He needs to be dealt with. We as a large organization need to stand behind any of our "honorable" brothers..whose jobs are being threatend for political reasons.
