The Village of Kings Point is the highest paid police department in the country. You do not need residency to work with these raccoon chasers.

The Hempstead Village Police Dept. is the biggest village police force in the United States, over 110 sworn officers. Freeport has like 90 sworn officers, Long Beach has 78 sworn officers and the rest have between 20 and 60 sworn officers. Most have a website, check those out for more info.

The Village of Kings Point pays there officer a base salary of $92,000 a year. No academy is required if you are a New York State certified police officer. What is required if you work for this village is that you become a boot licker.

My brother is a kings point cop and he did go attend a police academy. It was the same police academy as the nassau cops. After graduation he reports to his department. In this case, kings point. He has been on the force for about 9 years and is making well over 100 grand. i think he started at 78 grand i think, but it jumps up after 2 or 3 years. There is about 8 kings point cops that i know of. I have heard kings point are the highest in the country. That might be true. I know rookie nassau cops are making 40gs currently. And if you know the area of kings point. There is no crime. There is muli- million dollar homes.. Basically he drives around all the time. And kings point is no bigger then 10 miles and that is being generous.

Hey Jack-off, he's probably on the list considering alternatives to county employment. Some of the villages are Cadillac of police agencies and pay better than Nassau County. They work 10 and 12 hour tours with plenty less show-ups. They also have part time work wrapped.
