You're right...those are special districts. I am more concerned about the $134M in tax certs Nassau County is on the hook for. Suozzi has been saying he'd fix this broken system since 2002. Since then, he's racked up over $800m in refunds, and his daddy's firm has made millions exploiting Tom's inaction. Imagine what could have been done with all that money.
Suozzi has no credibility on assessment. It will be interesting to see how he addresses it in the campaign.

Suozzi is a fraud and an empty suit. He surrounds himself with people at the top who are also BIG NOTHINGS, like him. Suozzi can only deal with "yes men".

One county Library district (like most places in the state) would be a good idea, but the savings would be minimal except among administrators and personal services contracts.
