Has anyone else gone on Cuomo's new website-Project Sunlight? Twenty pages filled with NHCC employees making over $100,000. And not all of them are MDs. How in the world can someone be making a year to date salary in August that exceeds their salary for the year? Many of the people on this list are doing just that. Could someone offer a feasible explanation-other than the friends of Gianelli old line.

Their executive salaries have no limits now that it is not a County run hospital. And the Executives running the Hospital have really turned that that place around to justify their exorbitant salaries - yeah right!!!!

he takes orders; hes getting ready to move onto N Shore eventually. The hospital has always been a political sewer. Ask bruce Nyman.

Here is the link previously requested.
http://www.seethroughny.net/StatePayroll/tabid/69/Default.aspx?BRANCHID=4 I have it set up to give the specific info regarding salaries above $100 G at NHCC. It has 385 records-meaning over 38,500,000 is being spent on salaries of 385 people. Other special districts, villages, etc. can be investigated through this same web site. Please, ANYONE, explain how someone can earn more by August than their listed annual salary. That seems to be the case at NHCC.

Just checked out that link. It seems it reverts back to a blank slate. To get NHCC-go to Branch-Major Authorities. Choose Public Authorities from the scroll down. Next go to Subagency. Scroll to Nassau Health Care Corporation. Then go to rate-fill in 100000. Leave out commas. Hit more than, then hit Go. It is not a speedy web site, but it will deliver the goods.
Good luck and let me know via this blog if you have any further problems.

Repugs had their turn at the hospital trough (when the completely unqualified Oyster Bay gang moved in) and now they resent the Dems getting the jobs and actually making some improvements. You guys are funny when you're angry.

Are you kidding? That place has been a cesspool for years-no matter who is in office in the County, that hospital is a travesty. I pity the poor folks who have to go there. Patient care should come first, not fat paychecks for friends of whoever may be sitting in the desks on the high floors. Improvements? Ask the nurses being forced to work overtime, especially in Emergency, Critical Care and Psych. NHCC is more short handed than ever. Repubs or Dems-it doesn't matter-patient care comes way after those fat checks for all the directors and the like - in exempt titles because God forbid they should fail a test. Check out thhe former Manager of Patient Accounts. The six figure man kept on failing the Civil Service test so they made an exempt title for him-Manager of Government Accounts. You call that necessary? Or helping the patients? I call it corruption.
